Louis Kolenda — Executive Director

Louis Kolenda was born in Mexico City and raised in San Francisco, California. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Louis’s career has taken him from the United Nations in New York City to the Smithsonian in Washington DC to internet startups in Silicon Valley. His creative work has earned industry acclaim and been recognized with a variety of awards. 

Currently, Louis serves as Executive Director of YouthSF, a nonprofit foundation, helping students from underserved populations. The Tec Rec pedagogy he is pioneering has proven highly effective.
